Production Trainee Scheme with the BBC 

If you’re interested in a career in the media, perhaps as a producer, researcher or assistant, then this is the scheme for you. Based in either London, Birmingham or Salford, with BBC Academy training you’ll get an in-depth introduction to all aspects of media production.

The Junior Professional Office (JPO) or Associate Expert (AE) programmes are designed for young university graduates to gain training in all aspects of the organisation’s programmes and projects. You get to work in their field offices in locations such as Beijing, Cairo, Geneva, Guatemala and many more or at headquarters in Paris. Either way, it’s the perfect grad scheme for people who want to make a difference in the world whilst they travel and earn.

MI5 Development Programmes

This has to be one of the most epic graduate schemes around – training in national security in the heart of the UK’s capital. With a starting salary of £30K and a promotion of a work-life balance, not only is this grad scheme fascinating and interesting, it’s a great place to work too. They offer specialisation programmes in topics such as Intelligence, Data Analysis, Technology and Business Enabling.

If you’re looking for something a bit less spy-like but you still want to work somewhere that’s going to make you smile each morning, then Innocent Drinks could be the perfect place for you. Their Grassroots Scheme is a flexible three-year rotational programme with three placements in key areas of the business. Whilst it’s a great scheme for introducing you to the commercial market, it’s also a great place to work with many benefits including free breakfasts, flexible working hours, a free on-site gym, yoga club, and many more.

This one is a little spy-like too, however if you’re a big computer and technology lover, then you will love this.
